Protect Your Child’s Rights to Compensatory Education NOW
Any student with a disability whose IEP was not full implemented during COVID-19 or who could not participate in, or did not benefit from, virtual instruction is eligible for compensatory education. For many, if not all, the children with disabilities impacted by COVID, parents must resolve their COVID-related compensatory education claims with school districts or file for a due process hearing by March 18, 2022— if they do not resolve the issue or file by that date, their children will lose at least some of their special education claim and remedy.

The Mom Support Group is a team of postpartum advocates who have come together to help YOU – the new mom; the expecting mom; the mom who is currently suffering from a perinatal mood disorder; or a mom who is simply scared and stressed in times like these. Our peer-to-peer virtual support group will bring moms together on a Zoom-based call with our leaders – most of whom are survivors of postpartum mood disorders themselves.
