Launched in July of 2017, the GNHCC Health Information Exchange (HIE) is a collaborative data-sharing effort to improve population health and care delivery in the Greater Newark area. A web-based technology platform, the HIE offers participating local and regional healthcare providers secure, real-time access to shared medical information to better inform clinical decision making. University Hospital, Newark Beth Israel Medical Center, Rutgers University Behavioral Health Care, and Integrity House are the founding members and work continues to integrate additional clinical partners.
